'Wake The Queen' Festival

The 'Wake the Queen' Festival is an annual celebration of visual and performing arts that pays homage to Queen Charlotte, a staunch advocate, and patroness of the arts.

Proceeds from Wake the Queen will be used to fund music and arts projects in

The Gold District of Charlotte.

*Interesting note:

when Count Vincenzo de Riva Finoli left Charlotte in 1837, he traveled north, where he is said to have established the New York Opera Company.

In tribute to the Count,

we will bring opera to the streets.
